Kirkland to host Policy Committee hearing on jobs and economic development Thursday in Chester

CHESTER, Oct. 23 – As part of the House Democratic Caucus’ Plan4PA, state Rep. Brian Kirkland, D-Delaware, will host a House Democratic Policy Committee public hearing on jobs and economic development.

The hearing will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in City Council Chambers at Chester City Hall, 1 E. 4th St.

Kirkland requested the hearing to discuss the importance of creating more jobs that offer good pay and benefits while boosting local economic development. Kirkland will be joined by state legislators from across the state, including Policy Committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster.

  • John Daly, executive director, Delaware County Workforce Development Board
