Rep. Barb McIlvaine Smith recently received the “Cyber Families Leadership Award” from the Pennsylvania Families for Public Cyber Schools for her support and efforts to keep cyber schools viable in the Commonwealth. In accepting the award, Rep. McIlvaine Smith noted education should not come in as “one size fits all,” and complimented cyber schools for creating an atmosphere where each student has the best chance to succeed.
