State Rep. Vincent Biancucci, D-Beaver, is a lifelong resident of Beaver County. He is a graduate of Aliquippa High School and Youngstown State University. He served as executive assistant to his predecessor, state Rep. Nick Colafella. Biancucci has an extensive musical background, previously serving as the associate director of bands at the University of Pittsburgh, and music supervisor and director of bands at Center Area School District. He is a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, the Penn State-Beaver Advisory Board, the Mountain State University Advisory Board and the Community College of Beaver County Act 101 Advisory Board. In 1973, Biancucci received a Medal of Honor from the city of Patrica, Italy for bringing the MPIC Band and 500 descendants of the town back to the community to celebrate the San Rocco Festa. Biancucci served as the director of the band. In 2000, he received the Man of the Millennium Award from the B.F. Jones Library for his many cultural contributions to Beaver County. In 2004, he was named the government honoree in state government by the Italian Heritage Society of America, and in 2006 he was honored for his leadership, service and dedication by the San Rocco Cultural Committee. Biancucci and his wife, Marilyn, have two children: Charles A. Biancucci, married to Deborah Karafa, and Dr. Mara Biancucci Dunlap, married to Dr. John Dunlap. They have four grandchildren: Pia Michelle and Dante Albert Biancucci, and Roman John and Marco John Dunlap. His legislative priorities include tax reform, economic development, jobs and lower health-care costs. |
