Rep. Bizzarro: Millcreek to benefit from $70,000 DCED grant
HARRISBURG, April 1 – Millcreek Township will receive a grant of $70,000 from the Department of Community and Economic Development, state Rep. Ryan Bizzarro, D-Erie, announced today.
Bizzarro said the funds will be provided through the department’s Early Intervention Program and will be used for zoning and development consultant services, inventory software and physical inventory.
“One of the most important functions of government is the delivery of essential services to residents,” Bizzarro said. “The funding awarded today will help ensure that Millcreek has the resources necessary to do so in the most effective and efficient way, which is what keeps our community thriving.”
The Early Intervention Program helps communities develop comprehensive financial plans and establish short- and long-term financial objectives.
