Grant Presentation at Local Fire Department

State Rep. Ryan A. Bizzarro teamed up with state Sen. Sean Wiley and U.S. Rep Mike Kelly at West Lake Fire Department in Erie to highlight a federal grant awarded to the organization. The department received a $143,305 grant through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. The grant will help provide custom-made equipment including jackets, pants, gloves, boots and helmets for 45 firefighters; a washer and dryer; and two new thermal imaging cameras.
