Santa and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year! The holiday season is one of Peace, Joy and Happiness, and I wish that for each of you.

Now is also a good time to remind you of the Jan. 2 deadline to file a 2016 Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program application.

This program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians 65 or older, widows and widowers 50 or older, and people with disabilities 18 or older. The maximum standard rebate i...s $650, but supplemental rebates can boost rebates to $975.
