Rep. Costa meets Nathaniel Perez, 4, at the check presentation to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Costa secured the $10,000 grant for the hospital’s diagnosis and treatment of asthma to benefit Nathaniel and the many pediatric patients at UPCH.

Rep. Costa presents pediatric Drs. Debra Bogen and Alejandro Hoberman of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine with a grant for the diagnosis and treatment of asthma. The ceremony took place at the Children’s Hospital in the Turtle Creek Valley, where the incidence of asthma was found to be twice the national average.
