Services Provided:

  • Work as a full-time legislator serving the needs of my constituents with full-time staff located at 645 Penn Street, Second Floor, Reading, PA Open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. .


  • Sponsored key laws to reform Pennsylvania's criminal, corrections and court systems.


  • Established professional training programs for sheriff's deputies and constables.


  • Sponsored tough anti-crime, drug dealing and abuse laws.


  • Provided leadership that led to alternative sentencing programs in Pennsylvania to stop crime at its root.


  • Chaired the House Judiciary Committee during the investigation, impeachment and removal of Supreme Court Justice Rolf Larsen. Also continues to serve as current Chair.


  • Continues to press for true tax reform and relief for working families and senior citizens; fair and equal funding for basic and special education; improvement to lottery funded programs such as PACE/PACENET and Property Tax and Rent Rebate.


  • Drafted and directed through the legislature the law to help Reading gain a convention center.


  • Pushing for job creation, economic development and tax cutting programs that benefit low and middle income families and senior citizens.


  • Help bring additional funding throughout the City of Reading, including the Renovation of the Reading state Police Barracks, Troop L, reconstruction and repaving of highways and bridges.


  • Provided assistance to numerous new and established businesses that led to the creation of hundreds of jobs.


  • Place customer service first in providing help with constituents.


  • Getting state government to work for and with people.
