Representative Casorio meets with Patricia Simmers of North Huntingdon, and Flat Stanley, who was visiting the area from Lubbock, Tex. Mrs. Simmers' great nephew, Joseph Gerard, who is eight years old, is from Lubbock, and asked if Flat Stanley could be photographed with Representative Casorio as part of a school project. Mrs. Simmers' family is helping to send Flat Stanley across the country to meet as many public officials and other well-known people as possible. Joseph will write about these people once Flat Stanley returns from his trip.

Representative Casorio presents a House citation to Greg Stock of Jeannette, who recently retired after serving for more than 25 years as editor of the Jeannette Spirit newspaper.

Representative Casorio joins Hope Sehring, director of the Jeannette Library, in the library. Representative Casorio visited several libraries in the area to help celebrate Won't You Be My Neighbor Day in memory of Mr. Rogers.
