Rep. Conklin presents more than $2 million in state funding to Philipsburg Borough for the Cold Stream Dam restoration project. The funding is designed to protect Pennsylvania communities housing high-hazard dams in need of infrastructure improvements. Joining Conklin are Jan McDonald, Philipsburg borough manager; John Streno, Philipsburg mayor; and John Claybaugh, project designer for Stiffler, McGraw and Assoc., Inc.

Rep. Conklin joins Robin Knepp, Philipsburg Community Action Center Director, to personally donate 10 turkeys. The donations were made to help make the holidays a little merrier for the neediest area families. Conklin also matched his donation to the State College Area Food Bank.

Rep. Conklin joins Linda Tataliba, director of the State College Food Bank, to make a donation of 20 turkeys to aid area families this Thanksgiving.
