Rep. Angel Cruz's Biography

State Rep. Angel Cruz has been a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 2001. During his tenure, Rep. Cruz has drafted and had enacted several important pieces of legislation including Act 148 of 2014, which expanded newborn screening in Pennsylvania; helped to secure grants for numerous non-profit organizations and projects in his district; and played the leading role in the abduction investigation and return of Delamar Vera, a story which made international news and was depicted in a Lifetime Movie.
