Be a safe consumer! Stop by the free Consumer Awareness Fair, March 4

National Consumer Protection week runs from March 1 through 7, 2015. It’s a great time for consumers nationwide to take some extra time to make sure they’re making the best decisions for themselves in banking and investing, health and safety, identity theft protection and more.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office’s Bureau of Consumer Protection will host its annual Consumer Awareness Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 in the lobby of the City-County Building located at 414 Grant St., Pittsburgh.

Federal, state and local government agencies will be on hand to help answer any questions you may have. Organizations including the U.S. Postal Service, PA Public Utility Commission, PA Department of Banking and Securities, and the local Area Agency on Aging will also be at the event.
