Register Now for Davidson’s Annual Back-to-School Free Book Bag Giveaway

UPPER DARBY, Aug. 24 – State Rep. Margo Davidson, D-Delaware, is inviting parents to register now for her Sixth Annual Book Bag Giveaway. Free book bags are provided while supplies last. Parents must register by Sept. 2 to receive a free book bag for their children.

Residents of all ages from across the 164th Legislative District – Yeadon, Upper Darby, Millbourne, Lansdowne and East Lansdowne – are invited to Rep. Davidson’s Sixth Annual Community Picnic & Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Second Ward Playground, 747 Crosley Ave., Upper Darby, across the street from the Fernwood Cemetery on Church Lane. 

"We'll have free barbecue and drinks, family games, entertainment, state resources and information for students and families," Davidson said. "We provide this service every year so that families can have a successful 2016-17 school year."
