DeLissio 83rd Town Hall: What are the Electoral College and the National Popular Vote?

PHILADELPHIA, April 5 - State Rep. Pamela A. DeLissio, D-Montgomery/Phila., will host her 83rd Town Hall Meeting at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 23 at the Belmont Hills Library located at 120 Mary Watersford Road, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.

DeLissio has invited two special guests to speak on the topic of retaining the current Electoral College or changing the system to elect our President by a national popular vote.

The speakers will provide information on the differences between the two processes, how these two systems work, and the pros and cons of each.

“I am always thrilled to see so many familiar faces and to have the opportunity to meet new constituents who have taken the time to come out to share and learn with me. My Town Halls always energize me because I highly value the dialogue with my constituents,” DeLissio said. “There is plenty of free parking and I am looking forward to an educational and informative meeting for all.”

As always, folks from all parts of the 194th Legislative District are welcome, and more information can be obtained by calling DeLissio’s office at 215-482-8726 or visiting www.pahouse.com/DeLissio.
