DeLissio to host 77th Town Hall meeting Sept. 17

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 6 – State Rep. Pamela A. DeLissio, D-Montgomery/Phila., will hold her 77th Town Hall meeting at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 in the community room at Falls Ridge, 4349 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia.  Attendees should enter from Merrick Road into the parking lot. This location is accessible by Bus Routes 9 and 61.

Topics at the meeting will include child sexual abuse statute of limitations reform and a review of a package of government reform bills that enhance the power of the legislature.

“There is much to do in Harrisburg with very few session days remaining before the term ends November 30th. It is anticipated these topics, among others, could be considered before the General Assembly concludes the two-year session, and discussing them with my constituents is very important to me,” DeLissio said.

“I have conducted town halls during my entire time in office and I always welcome new people who may have not yet attended,” DeLissio added. “The location rotates throughout the district and it is great to see folks from all corners of the district attend. I welcome questions and comments, and look forward to our discussion.”

Anya Rose from Manayunk, a first-timer to a town hall meeting in June 2018, said, “That was so incredibly informative. I think everyone should go to these meetings. You will learn a lot. What issues are being discussed? What’s worth fighting for? What can we be hopeful about? What are other people in your area concerned about? I can’t urge you enough! GO!”
