How close has your child come to a sex offender? Wouldn't you like to know?

  • There are over 560,000 registered sex offenders living in the United States
  • States cannot account for 24 percent of offenders required to be in their registries
  • 67 percent of reported sexual assault victims are under age 18

The possibility of a sex offender lurking near a school, day care, park, or on the Internet scares and angers me.

That's why I support legislation to strengthen Megan's Law.
