Internship: Community Outreach Advisor


Assist the Representative in serving constituents through neighborhood canvassing, attending community events and doing administrative work in the district office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with a partner in greeting constituents door to door in the district, handing out informational materials, taking notes and collecting survey data.

  • Perform a wide variety of in-office duties including handling basic constituent issues and updating office spread sheets.

  • Attend “mobile office” visits to provide state services and information to constituents at various community locations.

We encourage applicants who are motivated and interested in government and public service to apply. The internship program is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and tools that will assist an intern in all future professional endeavors, political or otherwise.
