Support a citizens' constitutional convention
The last time the state took a comprehensive look at its constitution Ulysses S. Grant was in the White House, Queen Victoria reigned in Great Britain and the Wright Brothers' first flight was still three decades away. How can we keep up with today's changing world if we are still living by guidelines set in the 1800s?
A citizen's constitutional convention is the most important reform Pennsylvania could take.
My House Bill 2714 would place a referendum on the Nov. 4, 2008 ballot calling for a citizens' constitutional convention.
