Rep. Galloway discusses the governor’s proposed 2008-09 state budget, calling the blueprint good for the Commonwealth and good for the people of Bucks County and the 140th Legislative District. Rep. Galloway said the economic stimulus package the governor is proposing is aimed at heading off the possible side effects of a recession. And his energy independence strategy would not only help average homeowners cut their energy bills, but also reduce the state’s dependence on foreign oil.

Murphy at the Keystone Industrial Port Complex in Falls Township to announce AE Polysilicon’s plan to invest $70 million to create a production facility and corporate headquarters there. AE Polysilicon manufactures the polysilicon used to make solar cells. Gov. Rendell presented the company with a $1.9 million financial package from the Pa. Department of Community and Economic Development.
