Rep. John Galloway was joined by Kathy Krieger, her daughter Tara and the family's pet beagle Luna at a news conference in May to announce his bill that would allow local municipalities to enact their own dangerous dog ordinances. Luna had been attacked by a pit bull in Bristol borough, but under current state law, the local officials are unable to enact a dangerous dog law with more bite than the state statute.
