Rep. Gergely gets suited up to go through firefighter training to gain a better understanding of the scenarios local firefighters experience when doing their jobs. The day included donning 80 pounds of equipment and heading into a simulation to experience the work firefighters do. “We can truly appreciate what our firefighters go through everyday. They’re like brothers, I’m very impressed,” Gergely said following the training.
