Reps. Richard Grucela and Frank Dermody with the Fox Chapel high school students who have been petitioning the General Assembly to enact H.B. 520, which would give 17-year-olds the right to vote in the primary election if they will be 18 by the general election. The students attended and participated in a public hearing at their high school.

Rep. Grucela is joined by students attending a House State Government Committee hearing in Philadelphia. The hearing focused on Grucela’s legislation that would allow 17-year-olds to register and vote in primary elections in Pennsylvania if they will be 18 by the time of that year’s general election.
