Rep. Gary Haluska looks on as Gov. Ed Rendell signs into law Haluska's legislation that encourages the continued use of well-regulated, prescribed burning in Pennsylvania as an effective habitat and land-management tool.

Rep. Haluska encourages the House Education Committee to approve his bill prohibiting school boards from selling unused school property for less than 50 percent of its market value. The committee voted 22-1 to send the legislation to the full House.
