Hanbidge hears from constituents, shares available services at district office open house

BLUE BELL, Jan. 11 – State Rep.-Elect Liz Hanbidge, D-Montgomery, and her staff welcomed constituents at her Blue Bell District Office, located at 1098 Skippack Pike, yesterday afternoon for an open house.

Attendees enjoyed light refreshments and learned about the different ways Hanbidge and her office can help with state programs and services.

“Being accessible and providing top-quality constituent services through our office are important priorities for me,” Hanbidge said. “The open house was a tremendous opportunity to ensure Montgomery County residents know we are here to listen, serve and help with a wide-range of issues, including SEPTA passes for seniors, PennDOT forms, vital records, tax forms, unemployment issues, notary services and more.”

The event also allowed Hanbidge to directly listen to the needs of constituents and what they would like to see from their representative.

“I appreciate and welcome any chance to hear directly from my neighbors about what issues are most important to them,” Hanbidge said. “We had informative discussions throughout the afternoon, and it was a real pleasure to hear constituents’ ideas and hopes for our community and commonwealth. Thank you to everyone who joined and shared their thoughts with me.”

Hanbidge will also be hosting her Inaugural Town Hall meeting on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Montgomery County College, 340 Dekalb Pike, in Blue Bell.

The district office telephone number is (610) 277-3230. Those interested can learn more about Hanbidge by visiting her website at www.PaHouse.com/Hanbidge, or following her at www.Facebook.com/RepHanbidge and www.Twitter.com/RepHanbidge.
