Many dogs endure inhumane treatment and cruelty in our state's puppy mills. I recently met a number of rescued dogs brought by caring humans to a state Capitol rally for dog protections. At the rally, I joined many of my Democratic and Republican colleagues in condemning the inhumane conditions at many commercial dog breeding facilities in the Commonwealth.

I am also a proud co-sponsor of legislation (H.B. 2525) that would eliminate the substandard conditions and abuse that has been documented at some large-scale dog-breeding operations. You can help move this legislation forward.
