Rep. Tim Mahoney joins representatives from the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, Pennsylvania Common Cause and lawmakers from across the state to announce that members of the House may soon vote on a bill designed to give residents better access to state, county and municipal government records. Mahoney’s legislation (H.B. 443) would provide easier access to public records and create a new state agency to act as a facilitator for the public in accessing those records.
