  Sainato announces $12,700 in local arts grant

HARRISBURG, Nov. 19 – State Rep. Chris Sainato, D-Lawrence/Beaver, announced that an arts organization in the 9^th Legislative District will receive a state grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

Sainato said the Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts of New Castle will receive $12,784 in state funding.

"The grant will help the institute continue to promote the arts and cultural events in the community," Sainato said.

The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts is a state agency that is dedicated to increasing the availability of arts and cultural events in communities across Pennsylvania.
