Gibbons: Shenango Township office re-opens May 2

HARRISBURG, April 26 – State Rep. Jaret Gibbons, D-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence, announced that his satellite constituent service office in Shenango Township will re-open May 2.

The office was closed at the start of the year when new proposed state House district boundaries split Shenango Township between Gibbons’ district and the 9^th Legislative District. The current boundaries remained in effect for all districts after the state Supreme Court later rejected the proposed boundaries changes.

“I am happy to be partnering with Shanango Township to re-open this constituent service office in the municipal building,” Gibbons said. “The office gives the community greater access to state information and services and I look forward to continuing to provide excellent local service.”

Gibbons said the office will be open Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shenango Township Municipal Building, 1000 Willowbrook Road.

Until the office re-opens or during other times, constituents with questions or concerns should visit his Ellwood City office at 309 Fifth St. or call 724-752-1133.
