Gibbons opening new office in Shenango Township
HARRISBURG, Nov. 30 – To make access to state government easier for constituents, state Rep. Jaret Gibbons is opening a new satellite office in the Shenango Township Municipal Building starting Wednesday. The office at 1000 Willowbrook Road, New Castle, will be open each Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
"After talking with many residents, I have decided that opening this new office will help more people in Shenango Township, South New Castle Borough and Slippery Rock Township to get information about state programs and services," Gibbons said. "This new Shenango Township office will be able to help people with PennDOT paperwork, getting applications for programs, such as the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program and prescription drug programs for seniors and many other state matters.
"I want to thank Shenango Township for allowing me to have an office in the township's municipal building. This allows me to better serve Shenango residents in a cost-effective way."
Gibbons said his other three offices will remain open. His main office 309 Fifth St. in Ellwood City is open Monday through Friday. He has two other satellite offices at 306 E. Water St. in Slippery Rock Township, open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and an office at 233 Miller Road in Rochester which provides services to constituents on Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
