Wheatley to speak at leadership conference Sunday
PITTSBURGH, April 4 – State Rep. Jake Wheatley, D-Pittsburgh, will speak at a leadership conference on Sunday.
Wheatley is scheduled to speak at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 6 in Hamburg Hall at Carnegie Mellon University. The session is part of the Leading Change Conference being held by CMU's Heinz School of Public Policy and Management.
Wheatley is chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Education and chairman of the Health and Human Services Subcommittee on Health. He serves on the Appropriations, Education, Health and Human Services, Transportation and Majority Policy committees.
He represents the 19th Legislative District, which includes part or all of these neighborhoods: the Hill District, North Side, South Side, Allentown, Hazelwood, Downtown, the Bluff, Knoxville, Beltzhoover, Manchester, Arlington, Arlington Heights, and West, South and North Oakland.
