Walko holding hearing Tuesday on juror-pay bills
HARRISBURG, May 19 – State Rep. Don Walko, D-Allegheny, chairman of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, will hold a public hearing Tuesday on two bills that would increase pay for Pennsylvania jurors.
The subcommittee hearing will be held from 10 a.m. to about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 in Room G-50 of the Irvis Office Building in the Capitol Complex, Harrisburg.

The tentative agenda for the hearing is:
- 10 a.m. – Opening remarks by Walko
- 10:05 a.m. – Rep. Ron Waters, D-Phila./Delaware, sponsor of H.B. 601
- 10:10 a.m. – Rep. Ron Marsico, R-Dauphin, sponsor of H.B. 1356
- 10:15 a.m. – Cambria County Common Pleas Judge Norman Krumenacker III, president of the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges
- 10:35 a.m. – Doug Hill, executive director, County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania
- 10:55 a.m. – Retired Judge Gregory Mize, judicial fellow, National Center for Courts; and Lynn Marks, executive director, Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts
- 11:15 a.m. – Nevin Mindlin, legislative director, Pennsylvania Bar Association
