Costa to co-host session on property assessment appeal process
HARRISBURG, Dec. 28 – State Rep. Dom Costa, D-Allegheny, and Pittsburgh City Councilman Patrick Dowd will host an educational presentation by the Finance Department of the city of Pittsburgh on the Allegheny County property assessment appeal process.
The event will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Morningside VFW Social Hall, 1820 Morningside Ave.
The Finance Department staff will educate homeowners about the Allegheny County property assessment appeal process and the impact on the city of Pittsburgh property taxes. Staff will not be capable of addressing questions regarding individual assessments.
