Deasy presents McMurtie sisters with citation

HARRISBURG, Feb. 22 – State Rep. Dan Deasy, D-Allegheny, recently presented Ali and Jamie McMurtie of Ben Avon with a Pennsylvania House of Representatives citation for their work in Haiti after the January earthquake. The sisters run the BRESMA orphanage in Haiti, and they traveled back to the United States with many of the children from the orphanage, but recently went back to care for the others who are still there.
