Rep. Matt Smith holding town hall meetings in May

MT. LEBANON, May 7 – State Rep. Matt Smith, D-Allegheny, will hold four town hall meetings throughout the 42^nd Legislative District in May.

Smith will open the floor to discussions and questions about state and local issues affecting his constituents. His staff will be available to offer information about services that his office provides, and to help with any state-related issues.

Smith is welcoming residents to attend any of the following town hall dates:

· Mt. Lebanon - 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 15 at the Mt. Lebanon Municipal Building, commissioners’ chambers, 710 Washington Road

· Scott Township - 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 at the Scott Township Municipal Building, main meeting room, 301 Lindsay Road

· Green Tree - 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 22 at the Green Tree Municipal Building, council chambers, 10 W. Manilla Ave.

· Bethel Park - 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 29 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, council chambers, 5100 W. Library Ave.

Residents who cannot attend but need assistance are encouraged to contact Smith's office by calling 412-571-2169 or visiting 319 Castle Shannon Blvd. weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
