Smith delivers $10,000 grant to South Hills Chorale

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 28 – State Rep. Matt Smith, D-Allegheny, has presented $10,000 to the South Hills Chorale to help the group bring its shows to local senior living facilities.

"With this financial support, I'm happy to help the South Hills Chorale produce 10 convenient on-site shows for our friends and families living in our local senior facilities," Smith said. "The chorale offers a terrific form of entertainment that I'm sure our senior residents will greatly enjoy." 

Smith said the grant will pay production costs for 10 shows, including salaries for directors and musical accompanists.
