House Commerce Committee to hold hearing in Windber
HARRISBURG, Jan. 27 – The state House Commerce Committee will hold the first in a series of public hearings this week on economic development and job creation.
The committee chairman, state Rep. Peter J. Daley, D-Washington/Fayette, said presenters will be from the Small Business Development Center at St. Francis University, Somerset Chamber of Commerce and Community Foundation for the Alleghenies. Written testimony will also be read from Johnstown Area Regional Industries and Cambria County Industrial Development Authority.
The hearing will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28 at the Arcadia Performing Arts Theatre, Windber.
