Daley to hold news conference to discuss early retirement legislation
HARRISBURG, March 13 – State Rep. Peter J. Daley, D-Washington/Fayette, will hold a news conference Tuesday to announce and discuss the introduction of his two new early retirement proposals for teachers and state employees.
The news conference will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 17 in the Capitol Media Center, Harrisburg.
Daley said the proposed bills, H.B. 30 and H.B. 31, are not a typical early-retirement package, as they would not add costs for either taxpayers or the retirement funds.
