Barbin to host House Policy Committee hearing locally
HARRISBURG, Jan. 19 – State Rep. Bryan Barbin, D-Cambria, will host a hearing of the House Policy Committee at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21 in the Richland Fire Hall on Scalp Avenue, Johnstown, where public input is being sought regarding fundraising options for volunteer fire companies.
House Bills 91, card game contests; 169, small games of chance; and 243, Texas hold'em tournaments, will be reviewed. Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner Ed Mann will be in attendance.
