Burns to join Crime Stoppers in award announcement Thursday
JOHNSTOWN, Dec. 20 – State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria/Somerset, will join Crime Stoppers for an award announcement at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22 at Sunnehanna Country Club, 1000 Sunnehanna Drive, Johnstown.
Media coverage of this event is invited.
Burns will announce to Crime Stoppers his intention to contribute to an award for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible for a string of robberies in Conemaugh Township, Cambria County, and the surrounding area. Burns will also discuss legislation he plans to introduce to require stiffer penalties for crimes such as robbery and burglary.
