Burns honors North Star athletes

BOSWELL, Dec. 28 – State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria/Somerset, honored North Star High school athletes during a ceremony and citation presentation held last week at the school.

Burns presented citations to the ladies' volleyball team and the school's football team, both of which won their district championship.

"These exceptional teams worked incredibly hard this year to make their seasons successful and I felt they should be acknowledged for that work," Burns said. "Their hard work and dedication paid off and allowed both the volleyball and football players to gain victories in their district championships."
