Rep. George: Fish and Boat Commission seeking conservation officers 

 

HARRISBURG, Sept. 10 – State Rep. Camille "Bud" George, D-74 of Clearfield County, today said the state Fish & Boat Commission is accepting applications until Oct. 1 for waterways conservation officer trainees.

 

"Applicants for the Civil Service positions must complete a one-year classroom- and field-training program," Rep. George said. "The positions blend public relations and law enforcement duties, and applicants must meet all the requirements for certification under the State Police Municipal Police Officers Training program."

Applicants must score very high in the Civil Service examination and oral interview, undergo background and character investigations, submit to drug testing and a psychological examination and meet all medical and physical qualifications.
