Hanna announces $350,000 grant for PennTAP
HARRISBURG, Feb. 16 – State Rep. Mike Hanna, D-Clinton/Centre, announced today that the Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program at Penn State University in Centre County has been awarded a $350,000 grant by the state Department of Environmental Protection.
Hanna, chairman of the House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, said the grant will be used to advance energy efficiency among manufacturers in Pennsylvania who work with the program.
PennTAP, a federal-state-university partnership program for economic development, helps smaller Pennsylvania companies improve their competitiveness by providing technical advice, technical information and connections to other expertise, resources or programs.
