Hanna announces environmental grant for Clinton County
HARRISBURG, March 8 – State Rep. Mike Hanna, D-Clinton/Centre, today announced that a $70,000 grant has been awarded to the Clinton County Economic Partnership.
The grant, which is provided by the state Department of Environmental Protection, will be used to fund the partnership's ongoing groundwater evaluation, characterization, sampling and modeling project; soil and gas investigation; and soil boring and analysis and associated report preparation.
"The Clinton County Economic Partnership takes the reins on many projects that help to promote the economic welfare of Clinton County," Hanna said. "I am pleased that the state has recognized the partnership's hard work and dedication with this grant to continue its environmental projects."
