Hanna presents House citation to Central Mountain High School wrestling team
HARRISBURG, May 26 – State Rep. Mike Hanna, D-Clinton/Centre, recently presented a Pennsylvania House of Representatives citation to the Central Mountain High School Wrestling team.
The citation honors the team for its success on the mat, as the team recently finished fourth in the 2008-09 PIAA State Class AAA Team Wrestling Championship. The team also finished the tournament with five state place winners, setting a Clinton County record and earning it third place in the Team Standings of the 2008-09 PIAA State Class AAA Individual Wrestling Championship.
In addition, two team members are the first set of twins to earn state titles in the same year since 1991.
"These young men deserve to be recognized for their outstanding teamwork and commitment to their sport," Hanna said. "They met many challenges this season, earning several titles they should be extremely proud of."
