Hanna announces $75,000 grant for Clinton County airport

 

LOCK HAVEN, July 24 – State Rep. Mike Hanna, D-Clinton/Centre, announced that the William T. Piper Airport in Clinton County has been awarded a $75,000 grant through the state Department of Transportation.

 

The funding will be used to buy an aircraft fueling vehicle.

 

Funding for the grant comes from revenue from the state's jet fuel tax and is administered by PennDOT's Bureau of Aviation. A total of $3.9 million in grant funding was awarded to 18 airports statewide.
