Hanna: Clinton County SWA awarded $47,038 recycling grant
HARRISBURG, Oct. 7 – State Rep. Mike Hanna, D-Clinton/Centre, announced that the Clinton County Solid Waste Authority was awarded a $47,038 recycling performance grant through the state Department of Environmental Protection.
The funds were awarded based on the 4,018 tons recycled in 2006 and the county's population.
The Recycling Performance Grant Program provides incentives designed to increase the amount of materials recovered through recycling statewide and to promote economic growth by creating jobs and attracting businesses in the recycling and reuse industry.
