White, House Majority Policy Committee to hold public hearing
on PA ABC health-care plan
CECIL, Aug. 25 – State Rep. Jesse White, D-Washington/Allegheny/Beaver, will host a public hearing of the state House Majority Policy Committee on the Pennsylvania Access to Basic Care health-care plan.
The hearing will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 at the Chartiers Township Building, 2 Buccaneer Drive, Houston, Pa.
Presenters will include state Insurance Commissioner Joel Ario; Rosemarie Greco, director, Governor’s Office of Health Care Reform; Kathy Magaro, coordinator, Nurse Alliance of Pennsylvania, SEIU Healthcare PA; Paul Lodico, Mon Valley Unemployment Committee; Dr. Kenneth Melani, president and CEO of Highmark; and Barbara McNees, president, Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce.
