Democratic Policy Committee to hold public hearing
on transportation Wednesday in Pittsburgh
PennDOT Secretary Schoch and Port Authority CEO Bland to testify
HARRISBURG, Jan. 6 – House Democratic Policy Committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, announced today that the committee will hold a public hearing on transportation issues from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11 in Point Park University’s Lawrence Hall Ballroom, Third Floor, 201 Wood St., Pittsburgh.
State Reps. Jake Wheatley Jr., and Paul Costa, both D-Allegheny, requested the hearing and will serve as co-chairmen. The hearing will look at western Pennsylvania’s transportation infrastructure needs and recommendations included in the governor’s Transportation Funding Advisory Commission’s report issued last August.

Ø Chris Sandvig, regional policy manager, the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group
