Majority Policy Committee, Seip to host public hearing to examine transportation and infrastructure issues
POTTSVILLE Jan. 11 House Majority Policy Committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, announced today that the committee will be holding a public hearing on transportation and infrastructure issues in Pennsylvania (click here for agenda) at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13 at the Sacramento Fire Co., 2206 E. Main St., Sacramento.
State Rep. Tim Seip, D-Schuylkill, who requested the hearing, will serve as co-chairman. House Transportation Committee Chairman Joe Markosek, D-Allegheny, is also scheduled to attend. The current agenda for the hearing is:
· 10 a.m. Welcome and opening remarks from Sturla and Seip
· 10:05 a.m. Ronald Dietz, Stick Drive With Road Study
· 10:25 a.m. Mark Pishock, sales manager, Northeast Prestressed Products LLC
· 10:45 a.m. Mike Reibert, district executive 5-0, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
· 11:05 a.m. Panel from Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance: Alan Baranski, vice president Community & Government Services; and Kurt Bauman, government services manager
· 11:25 a.m. Closing remarks
