Democratic Policy Committee to hold public hearing
on electric reliability Thursday in Harrisburg
PUC commissioners to testify
HARRISBURG, Jan. 17 – House Democratic Policy Committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, announced today that the committee will hold a public hearing on electric reliability in Pennsylvania from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 19 in Room 418 Main Capitol Building.
State Rep. Thomas Caltagirone, D-Berks, requested the hearing and will serve as co-chairman.
The hearing will explore the effect weather can have on residential and commercial power, as well as the restoration of utility services to utility consumers.
